I followed the recipe but added dates and figs (about 1 cup each) as well as the mashed bananas and i used Allspice instead of the cinnamon. The bananas I had were quite small so I used 4, I only had self raising flour so omitted the baking powder and salt, and added 5ml of vanilla extract. Flavour was good but the texture was soggy. OMG I have now made this a few different ways, with honey instead of sugar. Add icing if desired (I usually just heat up a can of icing for about 15 seconds and pour over the bread- easy!).
