The beef was served medium rare as requested, but along with the vegetables, were average at best. Some of the restaurant's signature dishes include pear and fresh pecorino ravioli, veal shank ossobucco and limoncello tiramisu. Serving staff was attentive and the dinner selections were varied. While we did not drink any wine because we did not want to fall asleep at the theatre, the Knob Creek Manhattans were first rate and generous.

Simply magnificent!The ambiance is wonderful, and it begins with mood lighting and a tastefully designed dining area. while the service has been criticized elsewhere, from the receptionist to the wait staff it was well done and accomodating. We watch Lidia religiously on PBS, own several of her cook books and always find that her recipes produce outstanding dishes when prepared at home. The Apple crostata dessert was good but the deconstructed cannoli was meh. DG.

Worthy of note are the Frigetti (roasted Japanese green peppers with anchovies, fresh ricotta and tapioca fritters), the Chocolate Ravioli with burata and butternut squash in a sage butter sauce, and the veal tenderloin with hazlenuts, sunchokes and artichoke hearts.

I do which is why I searched through numerous restaurants on Open Table and Resy before choosing Felidia which did not note that they would have a prix fixe dinner. carpaccio with fish eggs atop. I then pulled up the Open Table entry and showed him that this information was not posted. Don’t judge. Every dish was creative, special and phenomenal. sour sauce and grilled endive -- melt-in-the-mouth delicious. last, the panna cotta was excellent as was the tiramisu, according to my wife. The manager was so dismissive and rude that we decided to leave. After many years of watching Lydia and preparing from her recipes this was our visit to one of her restaurants; it did not disappoint!

I would have rather have had a good calzone and salad.

When dessert came it was a tasting of three - the butternut squash tiramisu was amazing- plus an array of homemade Italian cookies. this is lidia's first restaurant from what i understand. There is this trend in food where cuisine is called a certain style or ethnicity because the ingredients resemble some of the basics of that particular cuisine.
